“The wicked wait for me to destroy me; I shall diligently consider Your testimonies.  I have seen a limit to all perfection; Your commandment is exceedingly broad.”  (Psalm 119:95-96)

What is destruction?  Is it death?  Do we not all die?  The wicked seek to detach you from the Lord.  Listen not to the lies of the wicked, but come into the eternal presence of the Lord and dwell with Him.  Learn His commandments and know that what the Lord will make of those who are His is greater that any can imagine.  Come to the Lord and know the One without limits.

Lord, my mind sees more clearly that my heart.  Yes, I know the wicked are wicked and You are good, but I do wickedness and ignore You.  Teach me, O Lord, the way of truth.  Change my heart that I would live into the eternal life for which You are preparing me.  Guide me, Lord, in the way of salvation, and by Your Spirit help me to walk the narrow way of truth.  I need You to save me.

Lord Jesus, You have taught us that we are to be perfect as the heavenly Father is perfect.  Teach me what this means.  Lead me along right paths that I may grow into what it is You know I need to become.  Guide me, Lord Jesus, in the way of truth and life.  You have come that we might have life and have it abundantly.  Grow in my heart the abundant life You have promised that I may walk with You forever.  Amen.
