“Which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel” (Ephesians 3:5-6)

Humans like to think they’re special.  We are all the same.  Each of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.  For each one of us, Christ went to the cross so that we might have a new life and have it abundantly.  Christ died once for all.  The promise of Jesus is to reach all people.  For all people is the offer made.  That includes you and those who will of hear His promise through you.

Lord, You knew the plans You made before the foundation of the world.  You know the issues that are with each one of us and the difficulty we have in trusting You above all other things.  Lead me, Lord, to see that the “for all” means exactly that.  Help me to be led by You so that I may share with others what You have given me and make this available to all with whom I share the Good News of Christ.

Lord Jesus, You have come so that as many as would turn to You would have life and have it abundantly.  Guide me, Lord, in the way of salvation You have made possible so that I would know the truth and share the truth You have revealed.  Guide me Lord now and forever so that I may always abide in You and freely share with everyone whom I meet the great news of Your salvation.  Amen.
