“But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are
spiritually appraised.  But he who is
spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one.  For who has known the mind of the Lord, that
he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.”  (1 Corinthians 2:14-16)

Those who are of the world think
the faithful are foolish.  “What do you
mean the Lord speaks to you?”  Do not
listen to the ones who cannot understand.
Listen to the Spirit who guides and directs.  Know that in the Lord is life and it is found
in no other place.  Be guided by the One
who made you and not those who were made by Him but do not listen to Him.  He alone can guide in the way of life.

Lord, there are many voices around me.
They vie for my attention and are constantly calling.  Cause me to hear Your voice above all other
voices that I would hear, listen and obey all that You speak.  Lead me in the way of everlasting life.  Teach me what true obedience is.  Guide me according to Your will that I would
now and forever be led by Your voice above all the voices of this age.

Lord Jesus, You have taught us to
constantly be in prayer.  Lead me to pray
without ceasing.  Guide me according to
the principles You have already given that I would walk humbly with You and You
would lead boldly with me.  Teach me all
I need to know and then help me walk according to all that You have taught
me.  You are my Savior, Lord, and in You
do I trust.  Amen.
