“The Lord is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.  The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.”  (Psalm 145:8-9)

It is good the Lord is slow to anger.  He has been patient with humanity.  He is awaiting the number of those who are and will be His forever.  Learn from the Lord and trust that all things are in His hands.  Be guided by the goodness of His mercy and know that He is accomplishing what He has purposed.  Come into His presence to be guided by Him now and forever and live with Him.

Lord, in this mixed up world I see so many variances and so much anger.  Sin causes grief and heartache.  Guide me in Your ways that I too would be slow to anger and abounding in Your steadfast love.  Lead me by Your grace and mercy to see through immediate circumstances and be led by the eternal promises You have given us all.  Lead me in the way of salvation and into everlasting life.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being the answer to fallen humanity.  You have come to lead the way for as many as will follow.  Guide me, O Lord, in the way of everlasting life.  Lead me according to the Father’s will to do those things which are pleasing in His sight.  May I now and always take Your lead in every situation and do things in a way that is right, fitting, and abounding with Your love.  Amen.
