“O Lord, You have searched me and known me.  You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.  You
comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my
ways.”  (Psalm 139:1-3)

What is it the Lord does not
know?  What is it the Lord is not able to
comprehend?  We look out and ponder.  God sees and knows.  We call Him Almighty and this name is
inadequate to explain Him.  The One who
knows all things has called you into His presence and desires that You walk
with Him.  Come then and know better the
Lord who made you.  Come and dwell
eternally in His presence.

Lord, You know what I am thinking.
You know what I am going to say before I say it.  Lord, please guide me that I may know as You
know: not all mysteries, but that which You will show me.  Lead me in the way that is true.  Keep me on the narrow path that I may now and
always be guided by Your goodness and mercy.
Keep me close to You that I may dwell with You forever.

Jesus, You have come to show the
way for those who will follow.  Guide me
today, O Lord, for I need Your help.
Guide me because I will get lost on my own.  Do not let me falter because of the mote in
my own eye, but trust that You who sees shows the way to go.  You have called and I have heard.  Lead me in the way of eternal life.  Teach me Your ways and I will follow.  Amen.
