“Who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;” (Psalm 103:3-4)

What has the Lord done for me? Some ask this question. The Lord has given you life. The Lord has granted mercy and grace. The Lord has offered you eternal life. There are blessings upon blessings and all you need do is come to the Lord and know His goodness. Come to the Lord and walk in His ways. Know that He is always good, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

Lord, the cadence of the world is hostility, anger and malice. Guide me by Your grace out of such rebellion to the place where I know that You are good and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Help me to live into the promises You have given that I may now and always live the life for which You have created me. Lead me to become like Jesus.

Lord God, You are the Creator of the universe. All things are in Your hands and apart from You nothing has been made. Guide me, O Lord, in the way of life established by You in Christ that I may walk humbly in Your presence and know your lovingkindness and compassion. You have redeemed me from the pit and called me to walk in newness of life. Continue to lift me up that I may abide in You always. Amen.
